What is a business finance lease?
Business finance leasing is a long-term rental agreement offering the use of a van for a fixed period of time. At the start of a contract, you pay an initial rental, followed by a series of monthly payments for a period of 2, 3, 4 or 5 years. At the end of the contract, the van is handed back to the finance provider without any further obligations, leaving you free to lease or purchase another vehicle. Leasing means you don’t have to worry about depreciation or selling the van as this responsibility lies with the finance provider.
Will I have to pay a deposit?
All our contracts do require you to pay a deposit. A larger deposit will generally reduce your monthly repayments.
Are there restrictions on the mileage?
The monthly cost of your lease is based on an agreed mileage for the duration of the contract. Excess mileage charges will be incurred if you exceed the agreed mileage.
Will I be credit checked?
Yes, all our contracts require a credit check to be performed.
What documents do I need to provide?
Generally we will need to see your driver's license and passport.
What paperwork do I need to complete?
We will provide a document pack which is very simple to complete, check and sign the documents and return to us in the pre-paid envelope provided.
How will payments be taken?
Payments will be taken monthly by Direct Debit.
When will the first payment be taken?
During the first month after you have signed the contract.
Will I own the van at the end of the term?
No, at the end of the term you simply hand the van back to the finance provider.
Do you only offer brand new vans?
Yes, we only offer brand new vans. None of our vans are used.
I am not sure which van is best for me, can you help?
Yes! Please contact us to let us know what you are looking to use the van for, an idea of the length/weight of your frequent loads and we can point you in the right direction.
Are your vans in stock and ready to be delivered?
“In stock” applies to vans which are situated in the UK and are available for delivery usually within 3 to 4 weeks. We are unable to deliver a vehicle until after the statutory cooling off period observed by the finance company (usually 14 working days) and we have received your signed finance agreement, processing fee and a copy of your proof of insurance. For selected stock vans, delivery can be made within 7-10 days upon receipt of the correct vehicle documentation. Delivery dates are subject to change by the manufacturer; occasionally delays do occur due to production issues.
How much do you charge for delivery?
Our vans are delivered free of charge to locations on the UK mainland.
Do you take part exchange?
No, we never take part exchange.
Is a warranty included?
Yes, all our vans come with the full UK manufacturer’s warranty.
Is road fund license included?
Yes – your contract will include Road Fund License either for 12 months or the length of the agreement, depending on the type of contract that is agreed.
Is insurance included?
No, you will need to arrange your own insurance and your policy must be fully comprehensive.
Can I sign write the van?
Yes, however, we do require that you remove the decals prior to returning the van at the end of the contract.
Is ply lining included?
Yes, all our vans are ply lined prior to delivery.
Can I get the van serviced at any garage?
You are advised to use local main dealer and use only approved parts. Please consult your leasing contract – this will tell you what you need to do.
